Videopress player for VCD (internal) : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I have a pentium III,64 Mbs, with a 52x max CD-ROM drive computer which I use to watch my VCDs. The player is a sony videoplus player (internal). My problem is that, there are some VCDs which can not play. Please tell me what can I do to rectify this problem or where I can get an upgrade. Thank you.

The player is called VIDEOPRESS PLAYER and not videoplus player.

The VCD's won't work on your pc because it doesn't have the videopress player program. Read your vcd's root directory. If there's WIN directory, the vcd will work on your pc otherwise it won't work. To make it work, copy the whole vcd to your hard drive and add the WIN directory from your other vcd (that work). Then use windows explorer to run vpplays.exe from WIN subdirectory. If you want to burn on a cd, add the autorun.inf before burning. Good luck.
