Computer language ??? Hey Chuck!

Hello Chuck and whomever else can help me,

Hope this post doesn't sound like I'm too stupid, I'm just not sure where to go for help.

I'm slowly learning and have printed out Chuck's directions from the Countryside Forum about how to post links on the forum. It works!!

Could someone please help with other html codes? I'm so proud that I've mastered the Ctrl C and Ctrl V.

Thanks in advance. Charleen

What do you want to know how to do?

Here's the HTML code for the sentences above:

What do you want to know how to do?

<ul>Make an unordered list? <li><b>write in bold?</b> <li><i>or italics?</i> <li><font color="red">or change the font color? </font> </ul>

Here's the html for the message above:

Let me make that a bit clearer:

What do you want to know how to do?

<ul>Make an unordered list?

<li><b>write in bold?</b>

<li><i>or italics?</i>

<li><font color="red">or change the font color? </font>

</ul>

I have a question? I'm using my outlook express for my email.......I found out it's sending out two emails when I write one email. Ok one of the emails is right, the other all kinds of mixed up letters. Is this a virus or my out look express not working? I went and signed up for a hot mail account, so I could email people, in case it was a virus. My son ran the Norton Virus and it says no virus. Thanks for your help.

Uh.....Junior Systems Psychic powers....Activate!!!

Okay, I see now. When you go to send an email, check two things before you send it (from Outlook express). Go to the "Format" menu and see if you are sending it as plain text, HTML, or RTF. When I send a message to someone in HTML format, and their reader can't do HTML format, it shows up as an added file within the message.

The other thing to check is also under the "Format" menu, check your encoding, if it's something wierd like 'mime-type' that could sometimes cause it to include a wierd file with all your emails.

Now, if it is actually sending the same message twice, it could be that the person you are sending it to has two email addresses down in your contact list. Then Outlook would try to send one to each address, and if one of them was wrong, it wouldn't work very well.

If this doesn't help fix it, send one to me at the address below and I'll take a look at it.

Thanks Chuck for personally emailing me. Nice of you to take the time to help me. Computers are Greek to me. I just love using them.
