.com are reporting that Luax2 has left to play for Congo in the African Nations Cup. So who will take his place on the bench to come on in the 2nd half of our next few matches to confuse the oppo?

Love to see Chopra get a shot at the title

Apparently, he could be away until the end of FEb, depending on how his team do - and Bobby is not well pleased.

You can't really blame the lad, but this must be the cue for AS or CB to be carried off on Saturday!

We've had examples of South American Football clashing with the Premier (Nobby in particular) and now Africa. I suppose it's another reason why FIFA should set a World timetable for football such that there are various windows during the year when league football should be rested and internationals can take place. Whether or not this is possible though, I have no idea. Obviously, the climate varies greatly across the globe and it might not be possible to incorporate all countries into such a schedule.
Good luck to Lua2 though. I hope the experience does him good although I fear his cameo performances might well be missed, (hopefully not as badly as Clarky's disaster scenario suggests - fingers crossed!)

Re Chopra, in this month's Mag, Biffa commented that him and Offiong had been playing like sh*te recently and that it was to be hoped that it wasn't a case of them getting lucrative contracts and never really achieving what they were capable of as they had no hunger. The day this issue of the Mag came out, Chops scored 5.
