No - I also have heard nothing. I contacted them in response to your post here - didn't make a note of the date, but it seems some time ago now?

I had quite a good response from them including a telephone call. Have heard nothing since - but will keep pestering anyone and everyone with this problem. Very good article in yesterdays Sun Newspaper (12th Feb) - will be e-mailing them asap.

Hi,

Cannot find link to the sun article either, but I have a copy. Will scan it and forward a copy for anyone who's interested.

I have written to Watchdog over 30 time in 7 years, telephoned over a 100 and e-mailed them about 14 times what do I need to do to get a problem sorted by them. Don't they do any work? Perhaps because it is about insurance Watchdog does not want to know as they probably all have shares in the companies concerned. The complaint concerns disabled people perhaps that is why they are so disinterested. I pay 3 times as much as a man my age because I have epilepsy for Travel and Term insurance and some companies such as RSA N'Union and Llyods will not insure me at all. "At death's door but I had it for 44 years and I would like to bet that when I go it will not be because of epilepsy! But no one will bet.

When I wanted an annuity for my pension though I could not get any extra because I am " Perfectly Fit and well" How hypocritical can you get and what has Watchdog done about it these last 7 years, NOTHING!

Would you please reply if you are not too busy helping "other people"! Ian Harris
