I've never seen him on the left either. Ruled with Ajax, struggled at Milan, + seems to have drifted in and out the side at Barca. For an international with medals he often comes across as being somewhat diffident.

BTW I had to laugh at his bemused description of various training sessions at Milan. The team were frequently required to stand on a full-sized training pitch, in formation, with various coloured flags placed at strategic points on the field. When the whistle rang the players had to run towards a particular colour and arrive all at the same time. They'd do this for ages until they got this right as part of the teams marking and off-side strategy. Wierd.
