Darlington or Peterborough

Darlington 1-0 up at half time. I hope they win, looking forward to another North-East derby, playing against one of our lend-out-spare-players clubs. They did a good job with Olivier Bernard didn't they?

2-1 to Darlo in second half.

Apparently the Smoggies only have 8,000 in their beautiful stadium by the river.

5 Live also said that the referee ther (Steve Bennett) was the same ref that did Newcastle v Leeds on Saturday.

I beg to differ.

Wycombe doing well - still holding Fulham. And Darlington clinging on.

2-2 Peterborough got a pen in the 82nd minute.

Barstewards. FT 2-2. So much for our televised match unless they can get the replay in before the 26th. Figgers....I could have gotten to DC for that one, too. :-((

So a replay means that we may not be able to play the winner on the 4th round weekend

The replay is next Monday so it looks like they are still targetting 4th round weekend for the match. I suspect this is because it is rather a tasty fixture for the cameras whoever wins the replay!

I hope so. Wouldn't they also get a good wedge of the television fees as well? Fingers crossed! :-)

Only this time it will be a bit different because we will be desperate to win at the lower-league ground to avoid being taken to SJP to play on a bog which would disrupt our neat passing-style.

Darlo missed two penalties, trying too hard ?
