Would be interested to know if anyone has stats for the top 6 teams' results against each other.

So Manure have only 4 points against the other title challengers and have not won against any of them away from home, YET they still top the PL!

Just goes to show the rest (esp. us, as we're joint top with the best record against the challengers) of the challengers have 'blown it' against the 'also rans'! Manure have just won 7 out of 7 against the 'also rans' (21 straight points), one wonders how we did in the corresponding fixtures?

Not a great deal to be gained in coming out tops in the mini-league (v. top 7 opposition), only to drop points against the minnows :-(

Not entirely Bud, as they've only played the 6 games, so their position on level points is a refelection of having had easier opposition. If they win their two in hand, and we win ourselves against lesser opposition, they'd have 10 points in the 'top six' league - so 3 points difference with us, whilst still being level on points in the real league. One game's difference.

More realistically (these rose-tinted specs are ruining my eyes), if they lose their two in hand in the 'mini 6', and we win the equivalent fixtures against lesser opposition, we'd be 6 points clear in the real league, and 9 points above them in the 'mini 6'.
