There was a wonderful bit of nostalgia with interviews with some of the ex-players from this week's "Heroes Launch". Mick Martin, Tommy Cassisdy, Alan Shoulder and Charlie Crowe were interviewed and spoke of the modern game. Charlie Crowe said that players were still relatively well-paid in his day but that, in any event, he'd have played for Newcastle for nothing.

Apparently (according to Bez), they hope to raise money for North East charities etc, which is a nice initiative.

Only thing spoiling it were the onlooking Gary Speed and Steve Harper looking like they'd just stepped into a pile of horsesh*t.
