Chris, I have a mint/new chrome M2. It is absolutly perfect and flawless. I am going to put it on ebay later but 2K is what I was going to reserve at, so i would sell it to you IF YOU WANT.

I also have a new M6J and a original Black M2 in mint condition, but I want a lot more then 2K for them. If you are curious, I found the M2s in Kobar Saudi Arabia.

Sincerely Hayden

My cameras look like crap and you can't have them :-)

Chris,

Why that model; you can get a new M6 for less, and get a meter so it's more convenient to USE. Or, you can take the batteries out on the M6 and pretend it's an M4 w/o self timer, which I've never used in 15 years of M-photography.

Or is it to round out your COLLECTION. If so, shame on you. M4's can have wear INSIDE too; picture your mint (outside '67 Cobra) having run 37 years w/o an oil change - take that you Leica "L" seal people. I like my TOOLS maintained AND used, but cared for.

If you're into collecting, I sincerely hope not, you could go to Hong Kong. I was there several times, and there is a small shop where I saw several MINT green, grey, chrome, and black Leicas there. I don't know if they're fakes (like sooo many things in HK), but I'd never seen so many cool cameras in one place. I've been to NYC, but not Wetzler/Solms. It's in Kowloon, on the main drag near the Peninsula Hotel. I know not a precise description, but you really can't miss it; it has a Leica logo on the store-front. I bought a NIB 35 1:2.0 lens shade there.
