Georgian Georgi to become a Geordie?

From the Beeb:

Derby manager Colin Todd has confirmed he is willing to allow midfielder Giorgi Kinkladze to leave the club. Todd told Derby's official website: "If Giorgi wants to leave the club then I am prepared to sell him."

Do we want him?

Could you imagine the press highlights if we had Kinky in the same team as Little Kevin? If he ain't good enough for Derby, he ain't good enough for us.

I think he was at least a hasbeen, he was sparkling when he first came over here. But there's enough salary spongers in the side at the moment, thank you. At least Lee Clark would've earned his wages.

He reminds me of lua x2 when it comes off its spectacular , but more often than not he ends up taking on 1 man too many

I remember when Kinkladze signed for Man City I thought he was an unbelievable player back then. I can't remember what the game was - I think it was an FA Cup game on TV and he scored one of the greatest individual goals I've ever seen(and this is still the case).

I think he then went off to Ajax where he didn't get played and his form dropped - then signed for Derby and the rest we all know. He's also put a hell of a lot of weight on which can't help either!

I would love to see him in our side - providing we got him properly fit, which is easier said that done at our place. Has a price been mentioned? Anything around the million mark and I'd snap him straight up.
