For a goat in good health, how often should I give baking soda and how much?

We keep soda available all the time in a separate feeder. They just take what they want. Sometimes it surprises me how quickly they use it, then other times it lasts quite awhile. Depends on stage of pasture growth, etc.

We just give provide it as a choice and they all seem to eat a little, we put it in mineral tubs, like the kind for horse minerals, the square one you hang over a board, for them. We do the same with our minerals as well.

Bernice and I sure do alot of things the same, are your mineral/soda feeders green Bernice :) Remember that nice cured grass hay has natural bicarbonate in it and most good grain mixes also have it. Vicki
