Hello Steve,

when I go to a theater my LEICA Trinovid 10 x 25 comes along regularly. There is also a 8 x 20 available from LEICA. Both binos are so small and elegant (at least IMO) that you can wear them together with your smoking if it should be necessary.

But maybe I misunderstood your post and you are not interested in buying an opera glass. Canīt supply you with any infos. Maybe further down you find what you are looking for ...

Best wishes

If you are speaking of the original Leitz Luxus gold-plated opera glasses (from the 1920s) that even preceeded the Leica Luxus Model A and C cameras (ca. 1929-1931), these are extremely rare. There is a picture in B & W in one of the Leica reference books on cameras, lenses, and accesories (I think it is one of Rogliatti's books). I have never seen a pair of original Luxus binocs offered for sale.

Variations? Forget it! These are as rare as the Luxus cameras, but less well documented.
