Got my seedlings in the containers and the grow light in place to get the head start on spring. Thinking real seriously about using a few of the antique commodore 64 units in the attic to try and design a programmable relay controller matrix to turn the lights on and off, monitor the container moisture levels and regulate an irrigation system. I know the 64 can be used as a security alarm controller, seems like it should be usable in an application as this and the logic is as simple as it comes.
