Well I don't think I'm going. To get to Widnes for 7pm is a bit too difficult. So the NW branch will not be there unfortunately unless you go Josh.

I think my next reserves outing will be Man Utd at Gigg Lane or have we got Blackburn or Liverpool next?

The home side took the lead after 62 minutes when Nick Chadwick hit an unstoppable shot from the edge of the box past a motionless Harper.

Shola Ameobi hit the post on 69 minutes after beating Gerrard to a cross.

United enjoyed territorial superiority in the first half with Shola Ameobi having two first time efforts saved by Gerrard. The best chance fell to Everton's Chadwick whose shot was well saved by Steve Harper. Steve Caldwell was booked after 32 minutes.
