My miniture poodle whines and howls when I leave him at home when I go shopping or when I tie him outside a shop to only pop in for five minutes, he also drags the washing off the washing line. How can I stop this?

HI Andrina, Your poodle probably has seperation anxiety. Leave him for short spurts, and lengthen those times each time. Where do you live that you can tie him outside a shoppe while you patronize the store? As far as your laundry goes, move your poles...

Read about behavior modification techniques. Start with the smallest amount of 'Correct' behavior (not barking) and praise lavishly.It will increase as the praise reinforces it. Ignore 'incorrect' behavior. Good luck.
