I see in the Journal/icNewcastle, that BT is getting on his high horse about our lack of decent training facilites. Quite right too.

I think it has been a regular cause for concern on this board and I am still appalled by the club's inability to sort something out. John Hall was still in the hot seat when the plans for Woolsington were discussed, yet here we are in 2002 and the players can't train as the pitch is frozen. Pathetic.

Never mind the training pitch, What is wrong with the main pitch? Do we have no groundsmen? Did we buy the wrong grass seed? Is it something to do with the fog coming of the Tyne?

It isn't that long since the whole pitch was relaid is it?

Shearer has just been on Sky and Criticised the surface so what the hell is going on?

Surely it can't be that difficult to keep a decent playing surface through the season.
