What are you all up to?

I'm going to the firms Christmas Party tonight, up to Newcastle first thing in the morning, then recharging my batteries for work on Monday.

Am I the first to get this thread started this week?

Seeing as it's now Sunday and I'm finally just about caught up with the bbs. Most of my weekend has been taken up with sleep and sniffles. CAme down with a cold last night, but at least this year it waited until I'd gotten back to the states, so as not to limit my enjoyment in God's country. :-)

Now I'm sitting here waiting for the BLIZZARD to hit Maryland. That would be appx 1 inch of wet snow which will be melted by midday tomorrow to normal people. ;-)) Much amusement was had watching the news last night as reporters were desperate to find people 'panic shopping for the BLIZZARD'. Most of the interviewees were bemused individuals swearing on their grandmother's grave that they were only out for the normal shopping most normal people do on a normal Saturday. "But aren't you stocking up on toilet paper?? Milk??? Bread??". "Erm, no." :-)
