I just read an article about this guy named Jeff Mathy. He's 23, from California, and is trying to break the record for the youngest person to climb the seven summits. I think he's in Antarctica right now on Vinson Massif. Has anyone else heard of him or his climbs?

I don't know if you'll ever read this, but Jeff is now attempting to climb Everest for the second time (a gastrointestinal parasite sabatoged his last attempt). I wish I could tell you if he's been succcessful yet, but I'm still trying to find out. By the way, I know him from high school. He's a very nice guy.
