Yep, the Mancs have been going on about this for a while and it's gained a bit of momentum from their sale of Andy Cole.

It was the lead in the red tops this morning. Ferguson is said to have been tracking him for months. Two year deal allegedly on table.

What's all this fete accompli sh1t ? So Di Canio's going, just like that ? That means, all they have to do is come and ask for Bellamy or Dyer, or anybody else anywhere and we, or they, might as well just fold.

I hope the feckers win the feckin Premiereship, the Euro Cup, the Scottish League, the Spanish League, the Bundisliga, the Italian League, the Oz league, the African Nations Cup, the African League, the North American League, all of the South and Central American Leagues, the Greek League, the Russian League, the Outer Mongolian League, the Lunar League, the Martian League, the Venutian League, the Solar League. And all the appropriate feckin cups, including the feckin Amateurs and the appropriate feckin Shields as well. In fact every feckin league and feckin cup in the whole feckin universe and beyond. They feckin well deserve them.

And also, that way, they'll p1ss off everybody in the whole feckin universe and beyond once again, and there'll be less incentive for Sir Alex Feckerson to stay on and they might give the job to somebody who'll turn out like Mr Sticksinya Feckin Gullet.

Eat your heart out Mr Feckin Shakespeare. :-{E}

Glenn Roeder has told the WHU website that there's been no bid.

"We are not in contact with Manchester United and the papers are having a field day at the moment running the speculation. The speculation is obviously coming from somewhere but it is not coming from our end. We feel that it is unsettling for everybody."

So obviously it's a done deal, then. I heard Glenda say on the radio (to the effect of) "I don't know about any deal, but sometimes the manager is the last to know about these things".

No mention of SAF upsetting the apple cart? That Roeder gets right on my t!ts.

Pit Bill, they will not win the OZ League this year, Perth Glory will, maybe next year?

-- Anonymous, January 03, 2002

You notice Roeder doesn't risk the wrath of SAF by calling him names like he did Bobby Robson over Sinclair...

Yes, I noticed that as well. T*$$er (© clarky).

Century Radio reckon the deal will go ahead later today - £3m.

or maybe Roeder learnt from the Bobby thing? I bet if you heard what every player or manager says your hair would curl. but screach you are right Roeder is a pain in the backside.
