still have a problem

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

Hello, it's me again. I've finally created my first vcd that can play on my dvd player...but I don't know how to do the same for the other mpeg file I have. My problem with LSX is that I can only load an AVI file but I want to load an MPEG file but it says I cannot. I also have TMPGE which are both cool programs but sometimes Easy vcd creator delux won't accept it. Why is that? I feel that I'm doing it correct, I configure each Mpeg to vcd form you know the 352x240 and 29.97 frames but I do know that it has something to do with the bitrate which I can never figure out. Which is the standard bitrate for a vcd. Can somebody help me out here please. Or can you recommend another program I should check out instead? Thank you for your time and I will be looking for your replies peoples. Peace out.

Carlos

TMPGenc has a template for VCD which chosen from the LOAD button. The files created are accepted fine by Nero for VCD creation. Whatever you'll say next steer clear off Easy CD. Easy indeed. It's just like countries with "democratic" in their names: they're anything but.

Standard video bit rate for VCD is 1.150 Mbps constant bit rate MPEG-1 video and the standard audio bit rate is 224 Kbps. www.vcdhelp.com might help you with TMPGenc if you need to use it as Mehmet suggested.
