In the pit and the pendulm, When the narrator awakens fully what can he see? He lies still. Why does he dread moving? When he does finally explore his dungeon,what does he remember? Describe the wall he touches. How does he come to the conclusion that his dungeon was 50 yards in circuit? How does he discover there is a pit? What evidence is there that the prisoner was being watched by his tormentors? Why does he think himself a coward?
