Pickled egg brine

Has anybody got a unique recipe, I remember some from years ago that had a hint of cream soda.

well, in the last week we've eaten pickled herring and pickled beets and well, pickles-can't say I've eaten any pickeled eggs!

Hard bolied, pickled eggs are pretty standard munchies in taverns in the deep south.

We used to use pickled beet juice (after the beets were eaten). Hard boil and peel eggs, drop into jar of pickled beet juice, store in refrigerator. They will take on the color of beets, only not as dark. Let them sit for several days to soak up the flavor. I suppose any kind of pickle juice would work.

There's a recipe or two for picked eggs in the Cs archives.
