Do you know a good way to mount a barith print on acid free board, without bubbling. When I mount apicture with rubber glu or m3 mounting spray after some time the print isn't flat on its background annymore.

dry mount the print or use corner tabs and an overmat. don't use rubber glue or 3M spray as they will eventually ruin your print. see ansel adams' book THE PRINT.

Another option is to use a rollatac. It utilizes an acid free archival adhesive that is positionable for several minutes. I have been using the small handheld unit for several years with no problems.Of cource a dry mount press is ideal but until you can afford one the rollatac is a viable alternative.

Rollatac and fiber prints? A disaster waiting to happen.

3M's PMA works ok with RC prints. However, it will not do the job with FB prints much above 8x10 inches. Taping with linen tape with an over- mat is simple and inexpensive. A dry mount press is really needed for serious work with FB papers. These don't necessarly need to be expensive, I picked up a 12x15 Technal press in good shape for $200 with a WTB ad on Photo.net.

PMA isn't designed to be used on porous materials...it's hands-down the best for small rc prints and cibas though. Scotch reps will tell you this stuff is pretty much an "office-supply" product, that said we use close to a 100 rolls a year here, and it works great on small plastic based materials & digital output like vinyl (as long as it's not too big)...anything porous though is a bad, bad choice.....if you really want to be "archival" and are spending money on bona-fide museum board, do yourself a favor and use mylar corners, or hinges out of linen tape or something suitable like that...all adhesives are considered bad in the longterm... plus, to be "archival" they must be reversible.

If you decide to use Ilfochromes try static mounting. It is completely reversible, safe & works very well. No sticky anything, no heat & no equipment required other than the plexi, the print & a piece of wool or nylon to generate a good static field.
