Anybody have any experience of the Leitz 2 bath b+w film developer? D'you know where I can find out about it? (Any nice books...) I use stockler's at the moment which is pretty great (recommend it to anyone who wants easier negatives to print)

Steve try ( www. leicagallery.com ) they claim to be selling the Leitz formula. On there site go to equipment sales then bring up darkroom it is listed at the bottom of the page.I think I might be a little careful about using it as info on thin base modern films may be a little hard to come by.Then again Rodinol is no spring chicken.

How old is this formula? The question is because I have an old Leica book (1956 or so); it is an italian instruction book, and it contains some developer formula.
I donŽt have it with me now but IŽll look for it.

thanks for the responses - I imagine that the formula is from the 40's, but I could be wrong. It's in the film developing cookbook but I wondered if anybody had tried it. I'll probably just give it a go...
