Any Predictions?

I see Eidur Downs the Saints (well, gets an equaliser).

Charlton have pegged Ipswich back to 2-2 which is a shame.

Did anyone else hear David "moral integrity like his manager" Pleat talking about Blackburn's signing of Andy Cole? He started by saying that he doesn't talk about other teams' transfers and then went on to pontificate at length about how it showed Blackburn's desperation that they spent so much money on a 30 year old.

It is a sad indictment of the Spurs-bias in the media that he wasn't laughed out of the studio and pointed at on the street. Sheringham, Poyet and Ziege - the dashing blades.

They may all come out all guns blazing after half time, but how many 0-0s so far?

Chelsea and now Liverpool ahead now. Alan Green on radio 5 is very excited at this.

Arsenal cancelled of course.

Chelsea may come back to beat Southampton but in today's paper, Alyson Rudd said that Chelsea's credentials couldn't be tested on them beating us but on whether they beat a side like Southampton...

Are Soton really beating Chelsea - that's the score we were hoping for after half time a couple of days ago. Well done to Gordon Strachan's lads and hang on for another 10 minutes. pity Ipswich are losing.

Soton 4-2 Chelsea. More than hanging on. It's going to be relegation for Leicester, Derby and Bolton or Blackburn

Good old Bolton 1- 1 magnificent equaliser against liverpool so they're not above us after all. And Bolton won't be relegated after all. Results going our way

Equaliser for Sunderland against A VILLA - excellent. Just need Tottenham to fail to win as well and all the hanger's on are trailing even further behind us

As long as the Makems don't get their usual spawny late winner.

With the goodwill of the new year, I don't mind at all if they do. Us in the Champion's League and them in UEFA Cup would suit me fine.

Great results for us today - Chelsea lost, Liverpool and A Villa drew. Couple of minutes left for Tottenham to succumb to a late equaliser and all would be very rosy

Who can see a gap opening up between the Big 5 at the top and the also rans? I hope I can.

Apart from the Spurs win and perhaps the Charlton win, the results were great today. We are still in a fantastic position, all those who went on about Liverpool's game in hand can now shut their gobs well and truly.
