The hotshoe for my flash is broken. Is there a place I can purchase the parts and make my own repairs?

Canon USA will sell parts if you have a credit card handy. Try: 1- 800-828-4040. I have heard that their remaining supply of parts for early EOS cameras like the 650 is limited.
