Roll Call! Just Happy to be here!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

I know that some of you have a little idea, of the time I spend keeping this all together. It is a labor of joy for me. I have come to like and respect each and every one of you. Many of you seem like family to me and I hope that you are receiving some help and good ideas from this site!

I am committed to keeping this going even if it is just me, and Mitch trying to stump me (and succeeding 99% of the time I might say!) Well I do hope that many of you will decide to stick around for a great New Year of 2002. (which is getting closer...it is now 11:49 and everyone has abandoned me for their beds!)

I am just happy to be here!! Melissa in SE Ohio!

Melissa-just had to tell you that the wife and I both find this site very informative-not to mention interesting! Thanks for putting the time and effort into making this a fun place to visit...and may 2002 bring even more questions and answers to this forum! God bless!

Happy New Year Melissa. Looking forward to what is to come in 2002. I'm happy to be here too. Although I don't participate all that much, it has been a real pleasure to check in every day and see what's new. May everyone have a safe and prosperous New Year and may God Bless us all. Kathy in NE Ohio.

It was 95+ degrees when I left Brazil, and my teeth are still chattering here in NE Ark.! I've never used so much chapstick and lotion to keep from drying up. But the cold sure makes me feel alive! And I'm enjoying spending the passing of the new year with my parents and extended family. That helps keep the saudades, or homesickness, from overwhelming me, since Vicki and the kids are still in Brazil.

May 2002 give you opportunity to create a strong and wonderful family heritage for your loved ones. I'm thankful for the spiritual blessing my extended family has given me. Makes me want to keep passing the blessing on down.

I check in here at least once a day, sometimes several times. Really enjoy this site. Keep up the good work! I just went to the backup site to check it out. I hope this one doesn't go down cause the print at the backup is too small for my eyes. I guess I just need a bigger monitor if we go there.

Deena the first page is just a pre-view of new messages, and it is rather small, but if you click on message board on the left-hand side it takes you to the entire lists of messages. then you can click the thread you want to open. these are a bigger size, on my screen actually a little bigger than the posts here. I hope this helps.

Happy to be here, too! Thanks, Melissa!

I do not know if anyone thinks my advice is worth anything, howsomever, I enjoy sharing when I can.

I learn something here everyday also. and knowing how much time it takes me to cruise thru here when it is not raining and I can get on line, certainly makes me appreciate all the time you put in, Melissa. Thank You from the bottom of my Heart!

Melissa and all: I just found you today, have been on the internet only a few weeks. Used to go to CS Forum at the library, but now, wow I can go anytime. I like this site very much so far. Happy New Year to everyone!
