Grandma's Lemon Fluffy Ruffles from Yankee Magazine

This dessert is really light and fluffy.

Dissolve 1 small pkg of lemon jello in one cup hot water and add the juice of 1 lemon with 1/2 of the rind grated. Refrigerate until it gets like syrup. Take one can of really cold evaporated milk and whip it. Add 2/3 c sugar and 1/2 tsp vanilla to the milk. Mix the milk and the jello together. Spread graham cracker crumbs on bottom of a square dish, pour mixture into the dish and sprinkle with more graham cracker crumbs on top. Refrigerate.
