manual in foreign language

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Canon EOS FAQ forum : One Thread

Since I make pictures Canon is my favourite. I bought Canon EOS 300 from my friend but unfortunaly the manual is on Hungarian language. He is Hungarian and he bought it in Segedin. I will be very grateful if you can afford me using instruction in English language by e-mail or by surface mail. My address is

Dobrila Martinov 21000 Novi Sad Jiricekova 21 Yugoslavia

Marry Christmas and happy New Year.

The instruction books for Canon cameras are copyrited by Canon. No one is allowed to put a copy of them on the net or anywhere else, even in email. Canon doesn't make their instruction books available for free, but the will sell them. If you are willing to buy one check out the sources at:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/eosdoc/

I know that sounds harsh and some other companies make them available for free for their products via the net, but Canon has chosen not to.

There are several free, unofficial manuals to be found: http://www.eosdoc.com/index.asp But the EOS 300 is not one of them. Maybe some one could take the time to write their own version and post it there.
