Watching the Fulham Manure game commentators Mssrs Tyler and Gray did not mention Fulham for the first 10 mins they just drooled about the away side. IMHO Fulham should have scored 4 b4 1/2 time. I know how the result will be and I have a funny feeling that God is Red. Just jam

There feel better now.

SOrry Bud got back from the other side too late last neet to SMS u

I know what you mean Derek - this constant fawning over ManU gets on yer wick.

Let's hope Fulham give them a really hard game in preparation for our game on Wed.

My main concerns right now are how much our confidence will have been affected by the defeat yesterday, and whether we can physically recover in time to give em a good working over - we looked very a jaded team yesterday.

We were tired more than anything yesterday, hopefully a day off with a bit of man motivation will get them up for it.

Bellamy never stops running and never looks tired - why can't others put the same effort into fitness training as him (maybe he should do a bit more shooting practice but that's a different matter)

Did you not know Paul, Bellamy has two hearts and two sets of lungs ? That snippet is courtesy of Sir Robert Robson, so it must be true. :- {E}

.... actually, I thought even Bellamy looked rather weary in the 2nd half yesterday. That was what concerned me more than anything.

We can't afford to rest him v ManU, but I feel we should definitely leave him out on Saturday. In fact, I'd also rest Speed, O'Brien, Dyer and Solano on Saturday. I might even consider resting O'Brien on Wednesday and playing Dabz and Distin.

I have a feeling BR was pretty upset with Elliott yeterday, but can't believe he would risk playing Bernard at LB against Manure - he might though!

There's only one Warren BArton ?

......you trying to spoil my Sunday, Mac?

I'd been wondering whether Griffin might be fit to play against Giggsy?

-- Anonymous, December 30, 2001

Griffin played Left Back for Stoke before we signed him. Never played there for us. Something about him being right footed I suppose.

Jacko probably knows more about him than me.

Giggsy's proving to be THEIR main man, we have to stop him, IF we can, I actually fancy us for a result.

No Cole moocher to worry aboot any more LOL

Actually, Griffin did play a few games for us at LB - under TSM I think. Despite playing there extensively for Stoke, he never looked comfortable for us on his 'wrong' side. I was actually thinking about him playing RB - against Giggs - with Hughes switching to LB. I certainly wouldn't pitch Bernard in there against Becks, but BR might.
