As some of you know, my father-in-law has been very sick and is still recuperating from surgery. Christmas day (unknown to my husband and me) my mother-in-law fell and hurt her leg. She just yesterday got around to going to the dr. and they admitted her to the hospital. Not only does she have a fracture but due to the blood thinner she takes for her heart problem, she bled internally and her leg is twice it's normal size. I'm a nurse and I've never seen a leg this swollen and black and blue. They want to do surgery but are trying to hold off because of her heart problems. I would appreciate your prayers for her and my father-in-law who is still recuperating but better. I won't be on-line much, if any, the next few days. I'll be spending a lot of time at the hospital so I do wish everyone a HAPPY and BLESSED NEW YEAR!
