My friend has a 7 month old puppy that is very sick. It started with what seemed like a cold. He has protein in his blood but not in his urine, he is not running any fever. He has loose stool. crystals in his urine. Vet has done much blood work but nothing specific shows up but elevated liver count. No medicine is helping. Vet said maybe it was some type of poison he got into like a mushroom from the woods or a type of spider bite but no apparent bites show. Next he is going to a " all natural practicing vet" . He has a hard time just walking and has had muscle spasms. Anyone ever deal with something like this? He has had all of his imunizations in fact the vet thought she may have over done it on the imunizations and this might be part of the problem. I'd like to know if anyone has had a pup recover from a similar problem and what diet or meds helped. Thank you for reading this. Very concerned, Gail
