i had a voodoo 3500 with tv out and it will not work unless i had the drivers and programs for the card installed. then all i had to do to output video to a tv/vcd was to go into display properties (where you choose wallpaper and screensavers) and there was another tab for voodoo tv and i just had to check a box to enable tv out.
