You would need to be able to maintain a vaccuum pressure of about 12 lbs. for a milker to work on the goats. Is there a way that you can see what your wife's unit runs?

I just got back, and we did chuckle about your idea! I would contact Dween Muse, she is so easy to work with and gets right back to you! Because all the machine part of it is a motor and vacume pump, she would just need the specs off the vacume pump. You would need the pail, inflations, regulator and hoses, all of which she is doing for me right now, but her prices are great! She would be able to tell you right off! scootter@netdoor.com

Dean, did you get this to work?

I was just thinking the same thing today when I was cleaning my (unused) breast pump to sell on ebay!

Tracy my daughter is expecting in July, how much do you want for it? Her Dad was supposed to send her one for her birthday in January but I never did ask her if he did, I can find out tommorrow. Vicki

Gosh Vicki, I am sorry....haven't been back over to this forum for awhile! Did your daughter get her breast pump after all?

Forwarded from another list

From: "Swanson DoeMain" Subject: Re: Human breast pump for goats? PLUS INTRO

I USE A HUMAN BREAT PUMP RIGHT NOW FOR MY GOATS - AND YES- IT WORKS GREAT. HOWEVER, - YOU NEED TO USE A HIGH END ONE - THEY SEEM TO HAVE BETTER SUCTION. I HAVE USED: GENTLE EXPRESSIONS - BATTERY OPERATED - GOOD RESULTS EVENFLO AND GERBER (BATTERY OPERATED) - TERRIBLE RESULTS NOT ENOUGH SUCTION NURTURE III (ELECTRIC) -GREAT - IT HAS THE CAPABILITY OF DOING A BOTH TEATS AT THE SAME TIME ON ONE DOE (I PURCHASED THIS ONE FROM A CHILDRENS SPECIALTY CONSIGNMENT SHOP - COST $100 - NEW WOULD HAVE BEEN $300) YOU CAN ALSO GO ONTO EBAY ....................................................................

Not sure if Dean is still here, this was on another list today. Vicki
