I am trying to use my new Quantaray Autofocus Lens 70-300mm with my EOS Rebel XS. I can't figure how to get alignment with infrared guide mark. Are they compatable? Thanks for any input!

What do you mean by "infrared guide mark"? Do you mean an IR focus compensation mark on a lens distance scale? Do you mean the red AF assist light projected from the flash housing in low light conditions?
