I just got a Leica D.R.P No. 423666 from my grandfather. I am trying to find its value. Would anyone out there with knowledge mind dropping me an email if they have knowledge about this camera. Its in good condition and its not a copy or replica becasue appartenly he purchased it new a very long time ago.

This will be a model IIIc, from 1946 or 1947. The Hove International Price Guide lists the value at $250.00. This is without a lens. As yours probably has a lens, that will of course increase the value. Depending on which lens it is, it could increase the value quite a bit. The figure I gave is to be taken only as a rough guide.

Stan Tamarkin in New York has a IIIc in the 500,000 serial number range, listed at $250 in VG+ condition. Again, this is for body only.
