Arca afficianados: I'm a birder and carry the tripod/head/telescope all connected-up either legs out and over my shoulder or legs in and on my back like a ruck sack. I've just got the Arca and now wonder if I should carry on with my present style. Will it "kill" or damage the Arca? If not should I have the tension on or off when carrying? I carry my 1v, 300 2.8IS, 2x, 550EX over my shoulder sometimes. I have B-1 w/ G1325 legs. Whenever I'm hiking w/ camera it is over my shoulder ready to shoot. The B-1 is durable. When storing it w/o camera store loose.
