The Florida West Coast RR Co. acquired the railroad lines you asked about in l987 and continued the service from the CSX. In l992, FWC abandoned the section from Wilcox to Chiefland due to lack of business. Several years later, service ceased on the section from Trenton to Cross City, including the high bridge across the Suwannee River, as a result of the closing of a big Georgia Pacific lumber products mill on the east side of Cross City. Service has continued between Newberry (connection with CSX) and Trenton (a feed mill). The FWC's headquarters are at Trenton, Fl. Hope this helps with your question. Aaron Dowling

The last ACL passenger service train to stop at Trenton, Florida, was a mixed train which ran roundtrip from High Springs to Wilcox and back, except Sundays, stopping at all stations. Passenger service was discontinued sometime between December 1950 and December 1951.
The last ACL passenger service train to stop at Chiefton, Florida, was a daily mixed train from Dunnellen to Wilcox and back. This was discontinued sometime between June and December 1941. The SOUTHLAND express train continued to go through Wilcox, Chiefton and Dunnellen until sometime between October 1955 and December 1957.
I do not have the answers to the rest of your questions.
