If you're thinking about finding a way to fit a full-length (over 1 hour) movie onto a single vcd...forget it. The capacity of a CD is too small. Only way to do so is to use a higher compression format (such as DivX - which, unfortunately, isn't supported by at least 99.9% of all hardware players).

He's right, you don't stand a chance.

Stick to splitting them, and then burning them. If you want decent quality that is.

No way man i've done it several times, same with some of my friends. Use the program TMPGEnc and you can fit an entire length movie on once CD the quality is not quite DVD kinda resembes what you would see on a VHS but still the fact is you can put a Movie on a CD. Boondock Saints was the best one that turned out.

I'm new to the vcd scene but you can use super dvd ripper 1.89 and fit up to 1 hour 20 min of almost dvd quality. simply click and go its that simple
