"Happy Holidays!"

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Leica Photography : One Thread

Just a short note to say to everyone on this forum, "HAPPY HOLIDAYS!"

This site is really one of my simple pleasures, and I am so glad it will continue.

To Tony, thank you sir for your outstanding oversight, and even temperament. This is the best forum on the net!

To Mr. Greenspun, thank you sir for allowing this forum to live on. My understanding is that this will be at some expense to yourself. This gesture is not without the appreciation of all of the participants.

To all of the people that post here often, thank you for the education, the examples, the corroboration, and yes, even the friendly disagreements. I learn something here everyday.

Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year to ALL. Good luck and good fortune in all of your pursuits in 2002.

Al

PS...Not to slight anyone, (this is a global forum), if your belief system does not recognize the western holidays, then have a great 2002 and good luck in your future endeavors.

Hello TONY,

thanks for this wonderful forum you are moderating. In handling the A. W.- issue recently you really delivered a masterpiece of www- psychology. We out here are rally appreciating your efforts and we are still learning to become as tolerant as our moderator.

All the best for the coming x-mas holidays and the New-LEICA-Year to all of you..

Good shooting

Same player shoots again:

Dammit, Al, you keep on saying everything I wanted to day, but you're always faster than I am.

Tony, you're he best moderator I've ever seen. Thank you for all of your work here, which certainly has even more to do than with Leica itself.

I wish you both and everybody else here a really nice Christmas and a truly good upcoming year. Keep on loving your Leica stuff, but stay healthy, too!

Mike

Definitely this is the most civilized forum out there. Thanks to Tony and all those posters (me included) who, through thick or thin seem to forgive and forget. Happy Yule to all and a blessed New Year (why can I figure out how to do all the fancy fonts and such I see on this site).

-- Bob Todrick (bobtodrick@yahoo.com), December 22, 2001.

Happy Solstice and New year everyone! Emile
