Uefa have publcihed their qualifications for next season, in a transparent manner, on http://www.uefa.com/uefa/news/Kind=32768/newsId=13582.html

For England, Spain and Italy top 2 go straight in to the CL groups.

3rd and 4th go into qualifying round 3 and have one qualifying game for CL.

5th and 6th go into round 1 of Uefa Cup as do the FA Cup winners.

Intertoto supplies 3 sides to round 1 of Uefa cup and Fair Play supplies 3 to a Uefa pre-qualifying round

In Scotland the Champions (spelled C-E-L-T-I-C) go into the CL 2nd qualifying round and therefore have to win two games to reach the group stage. Scottish champions are viewed as lesser teams by Uefa than English 4th.

If we don't get into the champs league after this, then we should be shot.

It's only 5th place in England as we do reserve a place for the Worthless... which meas we really want Chelsea or Spurs to win it!
