Major dilema for Leeds match

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

I have a problem. Nah, not that one. A friend has managed to get me a ticket for the game on Saturday. I have offered said friend a lift. However, said friend also had a ticket for Tuesday's game and couldn't make it. And we all know what happened on Tuesday. What should I do? Should I honour my promise and give said friend a lift to Leeds or should I "forget" to pick her up?

A Preposterous thought ;-)

Said friend also got you the ticket for Arsenal match and has suffered much as a result of missing on Tuesday..

However, you must trust your judgment and your friend's ongoing good will about getting you tickets for the Makems away.

I think your friend's actions on tuesday were utterly unforgiveable.

In fact I decree that you demand that this friend forfeit his/her ticket for Saturday by way of BBS disciplinary action, and give it to an alternative friend who might, if pressed, have a fleeting interest in going to Leeds. You know it makes sense.

do your flirting in private

Screacher, give your ticket to me and I'll pick your friend up. He/she's got to be better looking/younger/more fun/more articulate/better dressed than you.

You'll regret this interference, Clarky, man.

Screach - We've won both away games I've been to with Doog (Derby & Villa) so she's not totally bad luck.

You could always post hers . . . .

Have you forgotten Liverpool away last season...

Yep - there's probably others as well - selective amnesia.
