hi, i have a sony handycam with the S-Video output when i use it to connect it to my computer and record the audio is not getting recorded,do i have to get any other cabel for the audio or the S-Video is capable of getting the Audio ? -please help thank you

The S-Video output contains only video signals. You need to connect the audio output from the camcorder to the input of the sound card or the capture card in the computer before the audio can be recorded or captured. Also in the capture program screen, if there is an "audio enable" button, this needs to be checked as well.
