The Town Hall Tavern near the Courts is well populated by Yorkshire Mags and others on a match day. See their web site for details.

So where are you all planning to meet before the match tomorrow ? Town Hall Tavern or elsewhere ?

I need to know so that Pit Bill can collect his ticket !

Haven't been able to talk to Screacher yet today Loony, so if nowt else comes up, the Town Hall Tavern sounds as good as anywhere. Will let you know soon as I do.

Hmmm THT is on the Headrow. Parking in town will be a real bu99er 3 days before Christmas. Loony, do you have a phone? I'm on 07967 275792 and will have it in the car on the way down. ETA 12:30-13:00 depending on traffic and weather. If all else fails, I have to meet Mungo ootside "Peacock" at 14:45 to pick up Clarky's ticket (but divvent tell Clarky lyek - Aah wannit ti be a surprise). I presume "Peacock" is a pub or other obviousl landmark at Elland Road.

Screach - no mobile for this backpacker. Completely understand you won't want to be driving anywhere near town centre - though without up-to-date knowledge I personally wouldn't be confident of getting a drink near the ground. Am aiming to arrive in Leeds around same time so will give Alan & yourself a bell then. Peacock is right next to the ground, very near the away end if memory serves me. Possibly called the Old Peacock ? Worst comes to the worst I too will be outside there 2.40ish to pass ticket to Pit Bill in a clean brown envelope. Or a dirty brown cantaloupe if preferred. Have a safe journey down and steer a wide berth of anyone dressed as KKK. Over and out

Cheers Loony. We could do with an updated weather forecast. Snow is falling up here in North Northumberland. CU in Leeds bonnie lad.
