They showed the game on a sports bar 5 min away. Last night I was so nervous and also knew we were going to lose so I didnt go. Omg I'm stupid =[

Not at all Sud, I could have watched it on PPV at home for no charge, However I just couldnt bring myself to, Mrs kennyboy told me the halftime score when there was about 10 mins left. I resigned myself to accepting a trouncing. But I switched teletext on at full time and nearly cracked me heed of the ceiling , wor lass thought i was a right divvy jumping up and doon in me front room like an exited kid.

Luckily one of the lads taped it and im gonna watch it tonight.

I didn't even listen, for the above reasons. Watched The Bill instead. Checked the teletext during the ad break to see the Arse ahead and down to ten men, which I assumed meant they would stick ten men behind the ball for the second half and protect their lead.

It's accurate to say I was rather pleasantly supprised when I logged on to Greenspun at 10 PM.

Went to Sin City (Rothbury) where they have a pub with Sky or whatever.
Watched until halftime but the moaning of the locals was too much to endure - so seeing nothing else but a slide into communal depression in front of me I gulped doon me pint and listened to the match on R5 at home.
Oh Joy - just to hear Brooking sobbing into his Bovril was fantastic.
The commentary was sooooo biased.

Went to the Famous 3 Kings, which I'd deffo recommend as Evergreen's replacement (run by same geezer) for the London mags. He does get on the mic a bit too often with amateur commentary in the style of local radio dj, but he does make an effort, and more to the point promised a free pint to every NUFC fan in the pub last night if we won!
