The board that has built the 2nd biggest ground in the country, signed one of the finest managers anywhere, sanctioned £16m (despite our apparent bankruptcy) for 2 players in the close season that have transformed the team, and who currently preside over the club that is TOP OF THE LEAGUE!

If Bobby has been waiting to make the signing as suggested somewhere recently then there are a couple of possible reasons he's had to wait.

1. It is a tranfer window issue and Spain/Italy is the source of our new player. Swift alert ....

2. The player is playing for a team still in European competition. This would bring in Emerton at Feyernoord and Barry Ferguson at Rangers ("Ferguson won't leave this club while we are in Europe" they announced firmly at their AGM yesterday)

3. He was waiting for the court case to end :0(
