What rules are them then?

My rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the first time in a while winning the title is in our own hands. If we win all our games between now and the end of the season no one can catch us. Mathematical fact.

LOL. You've been listening to John Gregory. Go on, admit it!

if we played 25 games more than everyone else we'd probably just scrape it :-)

The Premiership had only been won once by a team averaging less than 2 points per game, Man U 75 points in 1997. That season 3 teams finished with the same number of points 68 for the next three places. This season would look to have a similar feel to it.

There may be a difference in that the bottom was fairly squashed (so to speak) as well, with 19th on 39 points and 13th on 42. The bottom looks to have 4 candidates trying to break away at the moment. Although it would be nice to believe that the side 11th on New Years Day that year could surprisingly get relegated as we finish in the top two. At least it would stop us losing 2-1 to them every time we play them.

If we won every game between now and the end of the season we could still lose the title....if Liverpool scores more goals than us.

2 hours per day of shooting practice between now and the end of the season! 3 hours for Bellamy and Dyer. ;-)

no Ciara... 'cos we would have beaten Liverpool !

Good point!

I think Ciara was right first time. Liverpool have a game in hand so if they win all their games except against us we will both have the same points, 96.

We're still a bleeding sight closer to it than we were at the start of the season...

;-)

Not so. At the start of the season we could confidently say that if we win all our remaining matches we are bound to be champs by at worst a 6 point margin. Now if we win all our games all we can claim is that we will at worst be level on points with our nearest rivals. :-)

.... but if we win at Anfield in that run........?? Oh, forget it!
