Thierry feckin' Henry - that's who.

Champagne not good enough for the winning side, then? Or do they keep beer and crisps on hand for Northerners?

Did they deliver to the cell? I thought he was arrested after the match.

Ah...

I was going by their website. Here's the report.

Looked like Andy O'Brien to me, as well.

Yeah, the TV people gave it to O'Brien (who by strange coincidence is in my Fantasy Football team along with Robert and Lua Lua) and Henry got it on the website.

I thought Henry and Pires were just superb - tore us to shreds in the first half hour - and Henry was still dangerous later one.

O'brien stuck to his task superbly, and of course got the equaliser, but I don't think he was MOTM.

I thought Given played well, Speed was immense when we were being overrun in midfield, Dyer did OK given that it is entirely unreasonable to expect him to play 90 minutes just yet in a game of that intensity - I thought he showed a lot of maturity tonight. Bernard did OK, and Shearer worked his socks off, even dropping into m/f at times to stem the tide.

Even without yet another booking for mouthing off, and his sending off, I thought Bellamy was very disappointing, as was Solano and both FB's - although like O'Brien, Hughes stuck to his task and over the full game emerged with credit.

How did Bernard do when he dropped back to replace Elliott?

He was far far better min, I thought he had his best spell playing behind Robert, they combined well and did get things going down the left.

I agree, once again Speed was a leader by example in a weakened midfield where Nobby & Dyer were happy to gift the ball away. Henry was magnificent, with better finishing Arse could be runaway leaders. Obrien stuck to his task and on occasion looked a threat going forward. His patter after the game phazed the interviewer: when asked about the title chances he answered something like "Don't ask me, I've came frome Bradford where we were just concerned with gettting 40 pts"

Yeah the OBrien interview was amusing....Shearer had his head in his hands as if he was dreading OBrien saying something :)))

Shearer was laughing his head off 'cos O'Brien was asked about our PL chances after Al said 'No, we wouldn't win it'. O'Brien didn't follow his skipper's lead and basically said he thought we had a chance.
