I just knew we would do it tonight! I have been fizzing and bubbling all day...couldn`t wait to get the match started! What an exciting match, fast, furious, a real fighting spirit from us in the end. Won`t go down as a classic game of football, but it certainly was memorable. I thought I was going to hurl when they put up 6 mins of extra time!!! Now I`m going to finish my bottle of wine and glow rosily!!!! Happy happy top of the league Christmas!!!! (:o)

"Heyey Shearer - ooo, aah - I wanna knowowow if you scored that goal......"

I cannot believe we won that game! We were totally and utterly outclassed in the 1st half hour when Arsenal played some truly outstanding attacking football. However, we dug really, really deep to keep it at 1-0 and stay in with a chance. 12 months ago we would have collapsed like a pack of cards in a game like this, and this serves to show us how far we have progressed.

Parlour's sending off naturally changed the game and allowed us to get back into it, but after Bellamy was ludicrously sent off, we went on to win the final period when the teams were level in personnel - and over the entire 90 minutes who is to say we didn't deserve it? Certainly we played much, much better in the 2nd half.

There will inevitably be a whole pile of whinging about the penalty, and indeed I've already heard two 'experts' saying Campbell played the ball. I've only seen one replay and frankly it looked a penalty to me - and let's not forget the Ref get's but one look at it.

The third goal was classical Robert, although before the penalty I was cursing him as while players were falling all around him chasing, harrying, tackling - he looked like he was waiting for a No.9 bus out on the left wing. Funnily enough, I'd also been cursing Luax2 for continually giving the ball away when he hit the pass of the season to release Robert for a really excellent 3rd goal.

A really gutsy, hard-fought win by a side that has become very resilient, and are now really playing for each other. A historic victory that takes us to the top of the PL - fantastically well done The Lads.

"...clarky stayed at home, Screach was on the telly..... Yep, I saw him celebrating after the final whistle - lucky sod!

Christmas has to be an anti-climax now. I reckon it should be cancelled.
