I was recently in Japan and got a camera for christmas present, but it doesn't seem to exist in the US or european market, at least not under the same name. The camera is an EOS 7 and it seems impossible to find any manual in English for it. I have a manual in Japanese but unfortunately mu japanese is not good enough to make any sense out of it. My question is therefore, if any of you people out there know if the camera exist under another name somewhere else. If not if anyone knows anything about the camera, and is it comparable with any other EOS camera. What's better whats worse than for instance EOS 5. Appreciate your input.

It's an Elan 7 (USA) / EOS 30/33(Europe) according to Canon.
